COO/President of Pharmacy
Ashley Petersen was born in Metairie, Louisiana, but was raised in Mobile, Alabama where she attended elementary, middle, and high school. She chose to stay local for college where she attended the University of South Alabama. She was a cheerleader there and later became the assistant cheerleading coach. After college, Ashley started working as an outside Sales Representative for a local company. In 2011, Ashley was given the opportunity to be a part of the DocRx team. She started as the Director of Pharmacy Sales. Over the years, Ashley worked with each individual product line offered at DocRx. She was influential in getting each program launched. In 2014, Ashley was promoted to COO. Since then, she has been working very hard on improving our operational standards, HIPAA compliance, and keeping our staff educated on the many changes our industry brings.Ashley enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband Matt, originally from Colorado, met because he received a scholarship to play baseball at the University of South Alabama. The Petersen Family are huge South Alabama athletics fans. Ashley and Matt are the proud parents of two boys.
