Meet Our Accounting Department

Jennifer Ward


Co-Founder and CFO with over 15 years of experience in Accounting, Jennifer help form DocRx in 2008. Jennifer began her career in Accounting in 1992 as she attended Southeastern Louisiana University and worked as a Bookeeper for Lee Management Group. Jennifer moved to Mobile, Alabama in 2004 and worked as a Caterer and ran the Accounting Department for Simply Southern Catering. In 2008, Jennifer was an integral part in forming DocRx and was named CFO that year. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family of 4. She has one daughter and one son and is the wife of the CEO of DocRx, Brian Ward. They met in college while he was playing Football at LSU. Outside of her family, Jennifer enjoys cooking, reading books, music, doing volunteer work for children and friends. She also enjoys working at DocRx and ensuring employees have a “Family Atmosphere” and enjoy coming to work each day.

Mae Winters


With over 20 years of experience in Accounting, Mae joined the DocRx family as Controller in December 2013. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama in 1992, she moved back to her hometown of Mobile and began her career as an Accounting Clerk with Roy Lewis Construction Corporation. Within two years, she was hired by a locally owned embedded software company, Accelerated Technology, Inc., as a Staff Accountant where she was ultimately promoted to Controller. ATI was acquired by Mentor Graphics in February of 2002 and Winters then served as Financial Analyst for the Embedded Systems Divisions. Mae married her college sweetheart, Scott, in 1995 and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters. An avid volunteer, she is very active in her church and her daughters’ school which is also her high school alma mater. Mae enjoys attending Alabama football games with her family and cooking in her spare time.

Raven Junkins

Accounting Clerk

Raven Junkins has been a member of the DocRx team since early 2013 when she was hired on for clerical and receptionist duties. After a short time, she began working in the Compounding Medications Department before transitioning to position of Accounting Clerk. Currently, she specializes in performing inventory and invoicing tasks for the Wholesale Pharmacy Department here at DocRx.

Jessica Kelly

Accounting Clerk

Jessica Kelly began her career at DocRx in 2015. She has been in accounting and book keeping for over 20 years. She handles all the billing for DocRx dispensing accounts. She works closely with the sales team and account managers to ensure our customers are receiving accurate pricing. Jessica studied at the University of South Alabama (Go Jags). She is married and has three children that keep her busy. She has a daughter who attends the University of South Alabama. She enjoys watching her sons play sports (football, baseball, basketball and swim). When she isn’t working or watching her kids play, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband, children and fur-kids.

Jessie Pierce

Accounting Manager

Born and raised in South Mississippi, Jessie came to Mobile on an honors scholarship to attend the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell College of Business where she majored in Accounting. Upon graduating in 2014 she entered the finance field, working in the healthcare technology industry. She spent three years specializing in budgeting, forecasting, and treasury before coming to DocRx as our Accounting Manager. Jessie spends time away from her DocRx family with her daughter, MollieRose. They enjoy spending time with their family in Mississippi, kayaking, fishing, going to the beach, and participating in MollieRose’s extracurricular activities at St. Luke’s Episcopal School. Go Wildcats!
